Welcome to the 2024 11v11 Adult League with New River United!
The NRU Adult League promotes adult soccer in the New River Valley. We are open to all adults 18 years old and up. We play 11v11 (45-minute halves) on full-size fields in Blacksburg (mainly on the VT Turf Field). Games will be played on Friday evenings primarily unless there is a conflict with scheduling the facilities at VT. Schedules will be released in advance for planning purposes, and the aim is to begin play 3/15/24. Teams will play 6-8 regular season games depending on the number of team in the league and 2 post season games. The season playoffs and finals are tentatively scheduled for the end of April through to early May dependent on schedule conflicts and weather delays.
